Ten months!

It's hard to believe that Shortie is ten months old. More like ten and a half, but who's counting?? Shortie is on the move more and more these days. She loves to walk - by herself if she's holding onto the furniture, or with you if you'll hold both hands. She's been doing this for awhile now, but she won't walk on her own. She stands unassisted for 5 - 10 seconds, but then she gets so excited that she falls over. She still loves to read books. The latest thing is that she wants to hold your hand and do things. She has a book with different textures and she loves to take your hand and move it over the different pages. It's very sweet. She also likes to share. Temporarily! She wants you to give back whatever she just gave you, but she's getting the idea. Lately she's become more difficult to feed. She wants to feed herself, and once she has one piece of food that she can put in her mouth, she wants nothing from Mom or Dad. We've had to trick her, and give her the spoon with food on it, which she'll feed herself. The best part of feeding her is that she does the baby sign for "more" and says "muh" while she's doing it. It's so cute, and amazing to see that she gets it. Finally, she has two top teeth, and the bottom two have cut, but not pushed up very much. I try to get pictures of those pearly whites, but she's not too cooperative. Here are some shots from the last month or so:
