Family photo

With all of the posting I did yesterday, I forgot to include this picture of the three of us.

Daddy's Vacation

This past week, Thomas took the week off and we went to Half Moon Bay. We stayed at the same place we were at for our Babymoon, and it was great. We mostly hung around the hotel and enjoyed the ocean view, and took walks to get food. It was not very warm in HMB, which is to be expected during the summer, but I was hoping for a day that broke 65 so that we could get in the pool. That didn't happen. When we came back to San Francisco, we decided to go to the zoo. I think Thomas and I had more fun that Shortie, but she had a pretty good time.
In our hotel room, before dinner (there are pictures of her in this same outfit out on our balcony, but she was fascinated with the flowers on her shirt and would NOT look at the camera!)
Walking to dinner in her new purple hoodie. At the zoo. This was the first time she was in the Bjorn facing forward, and we think she really liked it! Like her mommy, Shortie can sleep in any position.

Visit from Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa Douglas came for a visit a week and a half ago, and we had a great time. We went to Muir Woods, on what was one of the hottest days San Francisco has seen in awhile. I thought that there would be some relief in the woods, but I was wrong. But we did have a good time! Other than that, we just hung out and admired Shortie. Here are a few pictures:

Aware of the camera

It's cool to see Shortie getting more and more aware of her
surroundings.

Two months old!

Here is a video of Shortie on her two month birthday. It's not great quality, but the file is small enough that I can upload it without Thomas having to do anything to it. Hopefully, we'll get the higher-quality video up soon.

Breakfast with Mom

We have a lot of photos of Shortie in her high-chair device, but none are as cute as this! Breakfast is much better with a sweet, happy baby!!

Splish splash

Shortie loves bath time, especially now that she can really get down in the water (as opposed to the sponge bath, which wasn't all that fun). Here, Shortie listens carefully to my lesson on water safety. And here she tells me that that's all well and good, but a little splashing and laughing never hurt anyone.

Sittin' pretty

Shortie prepares to visit Papa and Tutu for dinner.
